Travel time is upon us and I ran into a very nice article about how neighbors can help keep a look out on your house while you are away on the Eons website. Here's the link:

I live in a small apt complex outside of town, and our neighbors and us keep watch out for each other all the time, not only while on vacation, but also when each is at work. Whom ever is home at the time keeps "watch". And my dh and I are always watching when strange cars/trucks pull in to see what they are up to. There is a storage rental shed here also, so there is always strange vehicles coming in and out. Not being nosey, just watching out for each other. As one of our neighbors is an elderly lady who lives alone.
