Leaves Falling Off a Crepe Myrtle Tree Early

I recently bought a crape myrtle that is about 10 to 12 feet tall. The leaves are falling off for no apparent reason. I water it constantly and it gets lots of sun. Why are the leaves falling off? Thanks.

Crape Myrtle Loosing Leaves Early

This past spring I planted an Arapaho crape myrtle tree in my yard. The tree seemed to take well and grew quite a bit. However about 2 months ago it started to drop leaves. Before they would drop they turned a reddish tint and then would later fall. I have watered the tree almost daily because we are in a severe drought. I don't notice that happening to other crape myrtle trees in our neighborhood. Does anyone have an idea what is causing this? Thank you for your time.

I have a young crepe myrtle tree. It bloomed beautifully this spring, and I've trimmed the old flowers, and I'm already seeing new flowers.
