Creamy Juice Pops

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup boiling water
  • 1 package (4 serving size) your favorite flavor Jello
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 cup cold juice (any flavor), adding enough ice to make 2/3 cup
  • 1 cup (thawed) Cool Whip
  • 6-5 oz paper cups
  • 6 wooden sticks

Directions

Stir boiling juice into Jello and sugar in medium bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Add to Jello, stirring until slightly thickened. Remove any remaining ice. Stir in whipped topping with a whisk until smooth. Pour into paper cups, insert wooden sticks for handles.

Freeze for 4 hours or overnight until firm. To remove from paper cups, place bottom of cups under warm running water for 15 seconds. Press firmly on bottom of cup to release the pop. Do not twist the stick or pull on it. Keep the rest in the freezer.

It is nice to have these little things around in case of emergency. You know the kind, starving child type or the falling off bike child. I always use my tupperware pop containers. I do not know if they have them anymore but they work great! Happy Summer!
