How do I lift out the door from a sliding door? I need to replace the weather stripping.

My older ones have a single screw at the top outside that once removed, the doors can be pushed up and the bottom lifted out, I believe. Be careful, because some older doors do NOT have safety glass !! Good luck and God bless you. : )

You will lift up and then push the bottom out.

Coincidently we had a condo in Port Isabel at Oyster Cove a few years ago. I now live in Harlingen. I remember my husband saying there is an adjustment on the bottom of sliding door that clicks up and should enable you to lift it out.
