Maple Nut Candy
- 1 box powdered sugar
- 2 cups maple syrup
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 2 cups pecans, chopped, if desired
Boil syrup, sugar and cream until soft ball is formed in cold water or 238 degrees F on candy thermometer. Remove from heat and beat until creamy. Add pecans. If it becomes too hard, add a few drops of cream and beat until smooth. Drop on waxed paper.
