I keep a cork board hung up in the laundry room. Each time I fold socks I take the strays and pin them up to the board. Next time I have strays, I check the board which usually has the match.
Whatever happened to those plastic rings you used to be able to buy to keep pairs of socks together in the washer? I've been looking for them of late with no luck.
After years of frustration trying to find matching sox when I dress, I take sox am off I pin them together....the pin keeps them together during washing and drying and I remove it as I fold them to put in the drawer.
