Picking Up Thorny Branches |
I pick up cut thorny branches with a pooper scooper and put them into the trash can. Saves my hands from thorn-sticks and my back from bending down.

I don't have a pooper scooper, but that is a great idea. I use my snow shovel and a broom. I sweep the branches or yard debris into the snow shovel with the broom. The shovel works as a dust pan, and keeps my hands out of the thorns. Then I just dump the mess into my waste bin.
