While in Nashville drive about an hour south and you'll be in Amish country. there are around 400 families. It's quite .laid back lots of buggies and great people. Cute kids that respect their parents and are smart beyond belief!! I know cuz I moved to this community 5 yr ago.
Hope you get a chance to enjoy it. Here is a link for directions. http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&tab=wl&q=

Try Loveless Cafe, out on Hwy 100 to eat at. The best country food around. True, it's not too cheap, but worth the trip! The breakfast they serve is out of this world. Many famous people have been there, too.
