Wrinkled Suede Skirt

Is it safe to iron or steam a badly-wrinkled suede skirt? If not, what do you recommend?

You can iron the wrinkles out but you need to do it slowly (be patient) and w/care. Don't place the iron directly on the material but use a pressing cloth (a cotton towel will work). Don't use high heat. Don't leave the iron in one place for very long. The key here is to work a small area at a time and not rush the job.
