Holiday Wreath or Easter Egg Nests

Ingredients:

  • 30 marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 tsp. green food coloring
  • 3 1/2 cups corn flakes

Directions:

For the nests: 3 1/2 cups use chow mein noodles for corn flakes.

Combine marshmallows, butter, and vanilla plus food coloring in top of double boiler. Heat over hot water until marshmallows are melted. Stir in corn flakes gradually. Drop from tablespoon onto waxed paper and with hands, shape into a 9 inch wreath. Decorate with candied cherries or red hots.

For Easter Nests: Form them into little nests and put jelly beans in them for eggs.
