When making french fries in the oven, whether they be a name brand variety or wedges cut from your own potatoes. Sprinkle the fries with different seasonings to give your family different varieties of flavors. Make some lemon pepper flavored, sprinkle some with garlic powder, maybe some with Cajun seasoning. I got this idea when my husband decided he didn't like the way I flavored the whole pan. Each row I season differently. Try it!

We use Emeril's seasoning or McCormick's Montreal steak seasoning which is fantastic. And while we're at it we usually throw on a coupld kinds of shredded cheese, some chopped up crisped bacon and some chives and next thing you know the side dish is the main attraction.

great idea.....we never seem to think of the simple things......we used to take turns picking flavors now we can just make rows of what we each like the most..............
