Ingredients
1 cup water
1/4 cup olive oil for healthy coat and skin
1 1/4 cups barley flour
1 cup oat flour
2 tablespoons soy flour
2 tablespoons flaxseed, ground
1/2 cup oat bran
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon beef bouillon

Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Divide the ingredients into several balls of dough.
Sprinkle flour onto a cutting board. Flour a rolling pin and roll each ball of dough into a sheet that is &frac; thick. Cut out the heart shapes with a cookie cutter, dipping the cutter into a bowl of flour in between each heart cut.

Bake at 275 degrees F for 45 minutes. Check to make sure that they do not get too brown.
Turn off the oven and let the cookies finish drying overnight. Two books that will be very helpful for you and your dog with food allergies are The Allergy Solution for Dogs by Shawn Messonnier, DVM and Natural Remedies for Dogs and Cats by C J Puotinen, DVM.

The mini heart shape cookie cutters that I chose for these wheat free dog treats are a great size for almost any dog. The treats are low in calories and even your small dogs with dog food allergies can eat them easily! Enjoy!

Try www.cdkitchen.com. That's become my favorite web site...after ThriftyFun, of course!
