Savory Sausage Rolls

Kids and adults love this at parties.

Ingredients:

  • 10 Pampers pastry sheets
  • 4 lbs. sausage roll mince, from the butchers or Safeway
  • 2 big squirts tomato sauce
  • a cup of frozen mixed veggies
  • 1 onion, finely sliced
  • large mixing bowl
  • spoon to stir
  • pastry brush and egg whites
  • greased oven tray

Directions:

Place sausage mince in the large bowl. Then add the tomato sauce, and onion. Give a quick stir. Add in the frozen veges and more tomato sauce. if you think it needs it.

Stir until all the mixture is blended together. Place the pastry sheets out slice individual sheets in the middle for mini ones. Spoon mixture on to sheets and roll and slice into 4 sections There you have 4 sausage rolls to place into oven for 25 minutes for convection oven, and 45 minutes for regular oven. (350 degrees F)

Repeat the process. If you don't want to eat, or cook them all, you can freeze the rest in a air tight container. Then they are ready for the next party. You can end up with 30 - 40 sausage rolls.
