Decorator Easter Eggs

There are many ways to decorate these fabric eggs, once you have the pattern mastered you won't know when to stop.

Approximate Time:

Supplies:

• stuffing
• pins
• needle and thread or sewing machine
• fabric
• notions for decoration

Instructions:

I used antique damask, fleece, eyelet, and a piece of a worn antique quilt. These eggs are not hard to make, the main thing is to round off the seams toward the middle and to not sew clear to the edge of the fabric. Look at the photos closely.

1. Start by matching the points #1 with #8, sew this one as in the photos below then open it up and match #2 to #3, open it up and sew #4 to #5, then open it up and sew #6 to #7.
2. Turn it to the other end and repeat with #8 and #1. Leave the flat edge open for stuffing, stuff and sew shut.
