I found a great way to get rid of fruit flies. Just put a glass of wine on the counter overnight. In the morning it will be full of dead fruit flies. You may never have them again.

Red or white wine? Does it matter?

Beer is also good, but to increase your results you should cover the glass with plastic or paper with just a small hole. Bet you double what you find. Flies however came from somewhere so you should look for source.

I have hints etc. in an article I wrote.Check it out if you like.Nothing bought or sold.Just info.
Good Luck

I agree. Apple cider vinegar works great and a lot cheaper.

Apple Cider Vinegar does the same thing; why waste a glass of good wine?
