Using Prescription Meridia for Weight Loss

Just wondering if anyone out there has been on the pill Meridia and had any luck on it?

The best & safe way to drop pounds is to eat less & walk at least a mile every day or 30 minutes a day, you will feel better. Good luck.

Hi Sherri, I believe Meridia is the prescription version of Alli. Alli is available over the counter. The strength and dosage of Meridia is more than the Alli. I believe the dosage is about half or so, they are essentially the same. From what I understand, it is more of a tool to help train you in proper eating. If you eat more fat in a meal than you should, it will be blocked, and you could end up with diarrhea, etc.Eventually you learn the proper amount of fat to eat in a meal. Healthier eating = more weight loss. However it is one of the few that has been proven safe. Unlike some of the other diet drugs.
