Any suggestions out there for how to paint a child's face for Halloween? My 4 year old grandson wants to be Spiderman and I just can't afford the costume. So I'm making it, but need help on how to make his face look like Spiderman. Where can one find face paint? Please Help. Thank you in advance.

When my son was small, I would use liquid eyeliner to paint a spider web pattern on his face. You can do it quite cheaply with makeup from the dollar store.

I would start by dividing his face into four parts drawing a line down the center and across the bridge of his nose; then paint additional lines evenly between the four quadrants. I would join them up by painting some 'u'-shapes between the lines and voila...a Spider-man face. I never actually needed to bother with a red base, he was happy with the spider web alone.
