For those of you who have a bad back, think about buying an Inversion Table. Walmart.com sells several models for under $130. They come unassembled, but are easy to put together. The most important thing when using them is to go easy!
At first set the table for only a slight tilt and don't stay upside down very long. Also bring the table forward (to stand up) very slowly. With some back problems an inversion table can really make a big difference, and sometimes stop pain altogether.

I agree with you on this - I've used one over three decades. They can save a great deal of money on doctor bills: both MD and chiropractic. You shouldn't stay down for over 3 minutes at a time. If interested in buying one, make sure that you read the information packet first. They have weight and height restrictions, and all are different. Our son is 6'5", so we couldn't buy one with a 6'3" restriction; and my husband weighs 215 lbs, so ours had to have a limit over 200 lbs. They are a big piece of equipment and take a lot of room to use safely. There are models you bend over, models you lay flat on, and models you sit on. And for safety, you should always wear shoes when using one.
