- 1 box butter cake mix (less 2/3 cup - set aside)
- 1 stick margarine, softened
- 1 egg
Mix above ingredients and press into 9x13 inch baking dish. Cook 20 minutes at 350 degrees F.
Mix:
- 1 1/2 cups Karo syrup
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2/3 cup cake mix
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Pour over the preceding and bake 40 mins or until brown on top.
