Baking Soda For Urinary Tract Infections

If you have a urinary tract infection have a baking soda cocktail.Mix 1/2 teaspoon of soda in eight ounce glass of water and stir, and drink it.Baking soda raises the pH levels of irritating, acidic urine.

Yes! I've used it for indigestion! I was unaware it might help with UTI's though. I have one now & the anti-biotic is not doing much.

I have used this recipe for years for indigestion. In fact it is better for you then Tums or Rolaids because it keeps the acids you need. My recipe for indigestion is 1/2 tsp. to 1/2 cup water.

Has anyone tried this other than the author? If it works it would be a fabulous UTI preventive as well.
