Make a big pot of soup, chili, or stew and freeze the rest in bowls, thaw and heat up for the next meal. Out of one large soup pot I can get 5 meals or more depending on what it is.

I saw somewhere else that you can place a freezer bag inside of a bowl, then pour in your soup, chili, etc, squeeze out the air, and close the bag. Then freeze. Once it's frozen, pop it out of the bowl, and stack the bowl-shaped ziplock bags. When you are ready for a meal, pop it into a bowl and microwave!

Great idea, Nikki! I freeze mine in freezer bags but bowls (reusable and microwave-safe, of course) would save time and money. I'll keep my eyes open for some stackable, covered plastic bowls for this... they should be made to take up as little freezer space as possible.
