Banana Split Salad

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 2 bananas, sliced thin
  • 10 oz. frozen sliced strawberries
  • 1 (20 oz.) can pineapple tidbits, drained well
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip

Directions:

Cream together cream cheese and sugar; set aside. Combine bananas, strawberries, pineapple, and walnuts (do not use mixer). Fold in Cool Whip. Refrigerate.

I see the bananas but what do you do with the cream cheese mixture. Says to said aside and then nothing else. It looks really good, especially if you add some cherries. :)

No bananas included in list of ingredients. Do they magically appear when other ingredients are combined? Heehee.

Recipe: Banana Split Salad

Ingredients

  • big container of cool whip
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 can of cherry pie filling (*you can use strawberries also)
  • small can crushed pineapple (drained well)
  • 2 bananas
  • coconut or nuts, if you like

Directions

Mix the cool whip and condensed milk together first. Then add the pie filling, pineapple and bananas, stir after each addition. Then add the nuts or coconut and stir. Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
