Easy Caramel Apple Dip

This will make caramel for dipping apples. It is simple and safe. Take a 15 ounce can of sweetened condensed milk and put it on a rack or a towel in your crock pot. Add water to completely submerge the milk and cook on low for 8 hours exactly. Check the water level several times, although I never lost much water at all with the lid on. It makes great tasting caramel!

Source: Somewhere on the internet. I have seen this done here before on top of the stove, but not in a crock pot. The crock pot makes it much easier and safer, as there is no chance for the pot to run dry.

Quick Caramel Apple Dip

  • 3/4 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Apple slices (for dipping)

In a small glass mixing bowl or 1 qt. casserole, place cream cheese. Beat until smooth; stir in remaining ingredients. Serve with apple slices. You can put apple slices in 7-Up or lemon juice to prevent darkening.

Trax Farm Caramel Apple Dip

I would like to find the recipe to the caramel apple dip sold at Trax Farm. It has cream cheese, brown sugar, vanilla, and caramel extract. It is like a whipped style dip, so smooth and not sticky. It is truly the best I've ever had. If anyone knows how to make it let me know please.

This is really easy and so good!

1 jar of Marshmallow Cream
1 pkg. of softened Cream Cheese
1 jar of Smuckers Caramel (for ice cream sundaes)

Mix together with an electric mixer. Refrigerate. Dip with apples, other fruit, anything. It's wonderful.

Recipe for Caramel Apple Dip

Does anyone know how to make the caramel dip for apples ... like you get at McDonald's in the kids meals with apple slices? Or any kind other than the caramel melted kind you make with Kraft caramels? Less sugar is what I'm looking for if possible!

I don't use exact measurements to cook but I do make a very low sugar caramel topping/dip for my diabetic husband. Dissolve splenda brown sugar blend in boiling water, thicken with corn starch, beat in butter or margarine, let cool till warm, stir in vanilla and butter flavoring. Hopefully this will help you out as I don't know how much you want to make.
