Homemade Peanut Butter

Prep time: about 10 minutes.

  • 1 1/2 cups unsalted roasted peanuts or more
  • 1 Tbsp. peanut oil
  • salt to taste

Use a food processor.

For smooth peanut butter:

Put peanuts and oil into the food processor. Process the mixture until it is very smooth. Store your smooth peanut butter in a sealed container in the fridge. It will be good for 2 weeks.

I use the salted peanuts whenever I make my own homemade peanut butter. The peanut butter lasts longer than 2 weeks in the refrigerator.

Always remember to keep it refrigerated because it contains no preservatives and will spoil.

I haven't purchased store bought peanut butter in years.
