Sugar Free Banana Berry Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain non-fat yogurt
  • 1 ripe banana peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup "Equal" Spoonful
  • 2 cups frozen unsweetened whole strawberries
  • 1 cup frozen unsweetened red raspberries

Directions

Combine yogurt, banana, Equal, in blender or food processor; cover; blend until smooth. Add half of frozen fruit. Blend until smooth. Repeat with remaining frozen fruit. Serve immediately in tall glasses.

Makes 4 servings

Better yet, leave out the Equal and enjoy the sugar that nature provided. You can up the banana for a creamier, sweeter smoothie. You don't really need sugar or anything like it when you have fresh/frozen fruit. The yogurt can up the tang, so the extra banana would be a good balance.

Why not throw in a teaspoonful or two of flaxseed meal too, you won't taste it (you will see it) but it's yummy good for you!
