Homemade Candy Dipping Fork

This Christmas, as I was dipping truffles in melted chocolate to coat, I wished I had a candy-dipping fork. Instead of purchasing one, I took a plastic fork with four tines, broke off the middle two tines at the base...and wal-la! the two outside tines made a great candy dipping fork for almost nothing. It worked great!

Great idea! I'd just been using a regular fork, and I had several plastic ones just sitting in my drawer. How I wish you'd sent this hint in earlier.

This is a super-ly great idea. I may have to make Valentine truffles just to celebrate your idea. Thank you.

Where were you when I made some and struggled with a spoon! I sure will remember this next year. What a great idea! TY

Very clever :-) Funny what we come up with in a pinch :-)

And if you didn't have a plastic fork a wooden or metal BBQ skewer might work, too ...
