Guess-for-the-Goodies (Family Reunion Game)

Great fun for a family reunion. It is called "Guess-for-the-Goodies" Everyone can bring something to guess, i.e. jar of candy, box of change, bag of beans, guess the length of string, etc. Anything someone can come up with. Guess sheets are by the item which lists who, what and what you win. People line up and start the guessing. It is always the highlight of the reunion!

We just had our family reunion and played your Guessing Game. It was a big hit, thanks! One thing that was nice was it was something we didn't have to tend to during the reunion. We tried to make everything with a green theme (for Kelly Green). We had green beans, green and silver paper clips, green and silver confetti, a very over grown zucchini, length of curly green ribbon in jar, dyed macaroni, change in a green jar, pages of a green book (wrapped in plastic wrap) and green mints.

Thanks again for the idea.

Its like a trivia game. If someone brings a pack of Oreo cookies, the question they may ask is " How many Oreos does it take to equal the span of the Golden Gate Bridge?" answer: 288,000 Oreos
Or bring in a big jar of Hershey kisses. Question "What year did Hershey start wrapping kisses in holiday colors?" answer 1962. Just type in google, "trivia on ....." whatever subject you're searching.

What a "Cool" idea. I bet this would go over well at Class Reunions too. I plan to present this idea at our next planning committee meeting. Thanks for sharing.
