Overnight Coleslaw
Ingredients
1 head cabbage, shredded
1 green pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
Dressing:
1/3 cup vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. celery seed
1/4 tsp. mustard seed
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. turmeric
Directions
Mix cabbage, pepper, onion and celery. Mix all dressing ingredients together in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cool. Pour over cabbage mixture. Let stand overnight in refrigerator.

The longer this salad/coleslaw sits the better it tastes. I usually make it around Thanksgiving and let sit in fridge until Christmas...really good!
