Luan plywood stained with a natural cedar stain and sealed with polyurethane. Nail down with brad nails. I put another coat of polyurethane on it to seal seams where joined. Hubby cut some of the sheets so that he could mix the grain since the boards are not all the same.
Does anyone have any idea how well this holds up? Especially in a household with multiple dogs? I think this looks so much better than putting cheap looking linoleum all through the place would. I have to pull up the carpeting in our DB Mobile home (it's really bad) and we CANNOT afford new laminate although I would love to have it. We are disabled and our one splurge is our dogs. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
I love this idea. Ive actually seen it on HGTV. have any Idea of the cost per sq. ft. I was thinking of trying this vs. laminate. Also I would like a larger pic. please
