I had a black labradoodle called Zulu. He looked just like yours, but black. He was so intelligent, a real character. I had always had yellow labs since I was a boy. A friend of mine had a standard poodle dumped on his farm and his own black lab made her very welcome resulting in a litter of three labradoodles. All three went to rugby players, and the dogs would meet up when we played against each other. When Zulu died I couldn't get another labradoodle, they are rare here in England. I now have a standard poodle bitch (she's lovely) - so we're half way there! Wishing Bailey and you all the best. I know just how you feel.
