Staples? I've never seen a pattern for these types of shirt-purses that require staples. I've only seen 3 patterns for them, so obviously I havn't seen very many. But I don't see why one would use staples at all. Needle and thread. The handles may be put on with buckles or clips or rings. But these would also be put on using heavy duty thread and a strong needle.
