I have about a dozen fresh limes. What can I use them for other than to add to beverages? I am going on vacation in one week and will not be returning for 3 weeks. I don't think the limes will hold up until then.
Another idea would be to make black bean dishes with lime juice. A mexican treat!

limeaide- just like lemonaide only you might want to use a couple more limes than you would lemons as they do not have quite the bite. key lime pie doesn't HAVE to be made with key limes! substitute the limes for lemons in any recipe.

You could juice the limes and freeze the juice in an ice cube tray to use in the future. This is a great way to store lemon juice, also. When you have a recipe that calls for the juice of a lime or lemon, you will have a supply handy.

I would try some of your favorite lemon recipes only substitute lime. I'm sure it would be yummy.
I have had success freezing citrus fruits. First juice the limes, then grate the zest. Place juice and zest in a freezer-safe container and go on vacation! Then you can enjoy it in your recipes later -- without having to go on a lime spree this week.
