Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. maple syrup
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 cups oatmeal
  • 1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips (12oz.)
  • 1 bar milk chocolate candy, coarsely chopped (4oz.)
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup chopped cashews
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions

Cream margarine for 30 seconds. Add sugars; cream 2 minutes. Add vanilla and syrup; mix for 2 minutes. Add flour, cracker crumbs, baking soda and powder, and salt; mix 1 minute. Add oatmeal and mix 1 1/2 minutes until thoroughly blended. Add chocolate and nuts; mix for 30 seconds. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees F for 8-10 minutes. Cool completely on racks. 5 dozen cookies.

    These look like a fun for a baking party with a bunch of preteens. You could cool and wrap then freeze each cookie for gift giving.

  • 2 lbs. brown sugar
  • 4 cups white sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. white Karo Syrup
  • 8 tsp. soda
  • 1 lb. butter or margarine
  • 3 lbs. peanut butter
  • 18 cups oatmeal
  • 1 lb. chocolate chips
  • 1 lb. M and M candies

Directions

Mix in the order given. Drop by ice cream scoop on greased cookie sheet and flatten with a fork, about 6 to a cookie sheet. Bake for 12 minutes at 350 degrees F. Yield 20 dozen.

  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 pkg. butterscotch chips
  • 1 1/2 cup nuts (if desired)

Directions

Cream together sugar, margarine, eggs and vanilla. In a separate container, mix the flour, soda and salt. Slowly add the dry ingredients into the creamy mixture, while mixing.

Add you M&M's, nuts, chocolate chips and butterscotch chips. Make spoonful drops on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F for 10 to 15 minutes.
