From the colour and face, I'd guess Lab/Weimaraner
(spelling?). Whatever, it's a lovely dog.

He has a lab face and to me looks kinda like german shepherd coloring mixed with lab. Congratulations on finding each other.

I agree. Irish wolfhound or along that nature. Maybe lab and something else mixed in there. No matter what, he's a buddy.
