Ingredients
- 1 package Jiffy yellow cake mix
- 1 package (3.4 oz.) vanilla instant pudding
- 1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, thoroughly drained
- 1 - 8 oz. package cream cheese
- 1/2 cups chopped walnuts
- 1 large container of Cool Whip
- Maraschino cherries (cut in half and drained on paper towel
Directions
Mix Jiffy cake mix according to package directions and pour into a 13x9 inch pan. Batter will be very thin. (really a shell) Bake 20-25 min. at temperature on package. Remove from oven and cool. Mix the instant pudding according to package directions using a little less milk than the directions call for. Blend pudding and cream cheese together until smooth and after cake has cooled off, spread over top of cake shell. Then spread the crushed pineapple over all, spreading it evenly. Spread the Cool Whip over the top. Sprinkle with chopped nuts and dot with cherries. Serves 8-10
