Editor's Note: One concern I always have about installing these type of browser bars is whether or not they are spyware. The FAQ on their website seems to address this

The Dogpile Toolbar does not secretly gather or relay information to any outside source. Any and all information (like ZIP Code and birth date) is used to customize your Toolbar with relevant information. It is never given to any outside source."
