Making Wick Disks for Wine Bottle Oil Lamps
How do you make those little disks with holes in the center in which you insert a wick, then put in a wine (or other) glass bottle? The bottle has been filled with lamp oil. What kind of clay is heatproof without having to be fired in a kiln?

I bought a package of those very cheaply - like 3 or more for a dollar. They included a bunch of the little wicks - which seem to be stiffer then regular wicks. Maybe Yankee Candle has some. Good luck.
