A great idea for baby or wedding shower favors. Buy small metal picture frames from your local dollar store and print out a label with a special saying for the occasion. Tie the labels on with colored ribbons -- an inexpensive way to celebrate a wonderful day!
I know you are posting under weddings, but the most precious baby gift I received was a frame for 2 small photos, and my friend had placed a hand calligraphy'd bible verse:
