Free Turban Sewing Pattern

I've been looking everywhere on the web for a FREE turban sewing pattern. I know I can buy one by McCalls, but I'm too cheap! Anyone out there know a web site with a free turban pattern? Sometimes I'm in a hurry and don't have the time to do my hair before I leave the house.

* This site is now "Under Construction" & NOT up.

* Nancy's Notion's was the first place I looked & the've changed their site, You now need to purchase a CD with all the "Caring" stuff on them. (I could be wrong, but I've searched & searched on that site)

* As far as the (guest post) post by "Siris". You answer sounds fascinating, but I don't know what you mean by "Just gather across the middle of a neck scarf". Do you mean gather the scarf VERTICALLY or HORIZONTALLY across the middle?

Thank you ALL for your help & you time spent posting these answers for me! I appreciate it so VERY much! Cyinda

Try Sewing With Nancy.com OR Nancy`s Notions.com
Nancy Zeiman has free patterns for turbans etc. for ladies who have lost their hair from Chemotherapy. On her website you`ll see a section about "caring" or something similar or just write "turbans" in the search.

I use one for painting to cover my hair. Just gather across the middle of a neck scarf, place that part in front and wrap around your head. Tuck the ends under the front too. Voila, a turban.
