Picante Meat Loaf

Picante sauce is a great substitute for ketchup.

Ingredients:

  • 3 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 medium onion, minced
  • 3 celery stalks
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • Advertisement

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 (10 oz.) jar of salsa or picante sauce

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Mix all ingredients well. Line 2 Small (4x9 inch) loaf pans with parchment paper, Divide meat equally into both pans.

Bake for about 45 minutes.

Note: using parchment paper helps extend the life of your pans and keeps cooking even.

45 Minutes Cooking Time

I really think I've run into the best bunch of cooks I've ever found in one place.

Thanks to everyone who sends in these great-sounding recipes. I'll bet this meatloaf is just the best ever. I will be making and testing it this weekend.
