Need to keep spiders from entering your house? Chestnut essential oil works! Dab onto a cotton wool ball and smear along window edges and doors to stop the blighters from coming inside. They hate the smell. I sent some to my friend in Spain where they have spiders the size of dinner plates there and she told me it has worked. I bought mine on eBay in a Wiccan type shop for 5 pounds (about $7.50).
