Peanut Butterscotch Cookies
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/3 cups flour
Cream butter and sugar, stir in flour and stir until crumbly. Press into a 9x13 pan and bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes.
In sauce pan combine:
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup light corn syrup
Heat to boiling, remove and add:
1 package butterscotch bits. Stir until the chips melt. Stir in 2 cup cornflakes. Spread over the baked layer. Cool and cut into squares.
