Ingredients
- 8 oz. very lean beef, cubed
- 4 cups water
- 2 cups tomato juice
Directions:
Slow cook meat, water and tomato juice. Cool overnight. Skim off all fat. Pour into large kettle.
Add:
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups tomato juice
- 3 medium onions, diced
- 1 lb. potatoes, peeled and diced
- 3 cups finely chopped cabbage
- 2 cups sliced carrots
- 2 cups diced celery
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions
Cook all day, adding water, as needed.
