Some years ago during the hottest part of the summer, I forgot to get a whole chicken out of the trunk of my car. I didn't think about it until I raised the trunk lid several days later. Nothing I tried took the odor out. A friend who delivered for the Coca Cola company said to spray celery juice like they did for their boxes. It worked like a charm. If you can't find the juice in the grocery store. Blend some celery with a little water. It works too.
