The World's Easiest Peanut Butter Cookies

- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg

That's it! Mix them together and spoon on a baking sheet. Bake 7-9 minutes in a 375 oven!

You can also low carb this recipe by using LC peanut butter and Splenda. Increase the egg to 1 whole egg and an egg white.

We love these!

Peanut Butter Cookies

Please don't vote for this post! It's not my idea at all, I can't take a single bit of credit. But I wanted to pass this on to the great folks on TF.

You may have noticed a recipe for super easy peanut butter cookies. The recipe calls for just 3 ingredients, egg, peanut butter, and sugar. Well, I tried this recipe on the recommendation of my dear friend, Beverly, and it is outstanding! Actually, outstanding is a quote from a friend who had just eaten one. Everybody who tried them said they were excellent, some said the best peanut butter cookies they had ever tasted. I think they are the best myself, and so easy it's crazy!

If you have seen the recipe, but not tried it, give it a go. It has been posted on TF before, but here is the recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup peanut butter

Directions:

Mix 1 lightly beaten egg, 1 cup sugar, and 1 cup peanut butter. When well mixed, take a tablespoon or so of dough, roll it around in your hand, and put it on a lightly greased baking sheet. Press down with a fork.

Bake in a 350 degree F oven for 8 - 10 minutes. They are out of this world, and noone will ever guess that they are so easy. As a real plus, they are also gluten free.

Servings: 18-20 cookies
Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Cooking Time: 8-10 Minutes

Source: I've seen this recipe in several places over the years. I don't know it's origin. it certainly wasn't me, though I wish I could take credit.
