The recent Tsunami from an earthquake near Sumatra has left a huge number of people in several countries without homes, medicine, food or water.

The U.S. Government has pledged 30 million dollars to relief. If you divide that out among the number of American's that is only a dime per American. I also saw on Fox news a site called http://www.globalpeacenow.com/ Haven't been able to check it out as like you said, their server is SLOW due to traffic......

Support Tsunami Relief in South India http://www.dasanudas.org

which is a grassroots organisation.

At this hour, their volunteers are on the ground delivering free food, aid and assistance. We need your support at this very critical hour. Relief activities are going on from Monday 27th onwards. They have started with distribution of hot kichari (a wholesome food made of rice / mung dahl and vegetables), variety rice and pongal (southindian delicacy).
