Making an Indoor Water Feature

I just saw some really cute ones of assorted sizes, shapes and themes already made that are electrically run and can be used indoors at my local hardware store and I know stores similar to Home Depot (I think it's B&Q where you live) carry them too :-) I wouldn't have a clue of how to make them but they are available ready made.
