Ingredients
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 3 Tbsp. water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 6 plain chocolate bars

Directions

Place sugar, butter and water in saucepan. Cook for 10 minutes or until brown, stirring constantly to prevent burning. Add vanilla. Pour in thin layer in buttered pan. Lay sweet chocolate bars across hot mass, then spread evenly over top after the bars melt.
