Appleberry Pie

Very good pie!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pkg. 2-crust refrigerator pie pastry
  • 3 cups chopped peeled apples
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp. cloves
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 can whole cranberry sauce (16oz.)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Line 9 inch pie plate with pastry. Cut remaining pastry into 8 wedges; set aside. Mix remaining ingredients in bowl. Spoon into pie shell. Arrange pastry wedges over berry mixture with points meeting in the center; do not overlap. Turn back center points to form petals. Flute edges. Bake for 40 minutes or until apples are tender.
