Embellishing Dollar Store Costume Items

My husband is a Viking for Halloween, because a few years ago we found him a marvellous plastic Viking hat complete with HORNS. This year, we added other plastic elements from the Dollar store (they have such great STUFF nowadays), a plastic shield and battle axe. I embellished them both with colored nailpolish and marker (gold/red/blue/purple/black). The embellished dragon on the shield with red wings looks particularly good!
